Analisis Karakteristik Motor Induksi Tiga Fasa Akibat Pengaruh Gangguan Pada Belitan Stator
ABSTRACT
Induction motors are the most widely used electric motors in industry; therefore, their performance, stability, and efficiency are crucial for anticipating faults that could reduce their operational lifespan. Motor Current Signature Analysis (MCSA) is a common method for online motor performance monitoring, though it may yield suboptimal results when the load torque is not constant. The model for a fault-free induction motor is derived mathematically using the stator reference frame (stationary reference frame). In this study, stator winding faults are detected through changes in resistance and inductance. The research aims to analyze induction motor characteristics—specifically voltage, current, torque, and speed—under fault conditions. The faults considered include open-circuit, shorted-turn (inter-turn), and three-phase faults. Analysis reveals distinct differences in motor signal characteristics between normal operation and fault conditions. This study focuses on analyzing induction motor current characteristics. Under normal conditions, the maximum current is 2.20 A. In contrast, during an open-circuit fault, the current rises to 9.29 A at 1.12 s; during an inter-turn fault, it rises to 5.5 A at 1.369 s; and during a three-phase fault (initiated at 1 s), the current rises to 4.97 A at 1.585 s.
