Analisis Peningkatan Kinerja Panel Surya Dengan Variasi Material Dan Sudut Pemasangan Reflektor
ABSTRACT
Increasing the amount of solar radiation received by photovoltaic panels can be achieved by utilizing reflectors to redirect sunlight onto the panel surface. This study aims to analyze the effect of reflector material variations and tilt angles on the performance of a 100 Wp monocrystalline solar panel. An experimental method was employed by comparing three testing configurations: a solar panel without a reflector, a solar panel with a glass reflector, and a solar panel with an acrylic reflector. Data were collected over six days using reflector tilt angles of 15°, 30°, 45°, 60°, 66.84°, and 75°, where the 66.84° angle was theoretically determined to produce higher power output. The measured parameters included solar irradiance, panel temperature, voltage, current, and output power using a solar multimeter. The collected data were processed to calculate the energy output and efficiency of the solar panel and were further analyzed using linear regression to evaluate the consistency of the panel characteristics with photovoltaic theory. The results indicate that the use of reflectors affects solar panel performance by increasing the irradiance received by the panel, with the acrylic reflector producing higher output power than the glass reflector. In addition, the positive relationship between irradiance and output current, as well as the tendency of voltage to decrease with increasing temperature, were found to be consistent with the theoretical characteristics of photovoltaic systems.
