Analisis Pengaruh Perubahan Tata Guna Lahan Terhadap Nilai Koefisien Limpasan (Run Off) Pada Kota Pekanbaru Bagian Selatan Menggunakan Google Earth Engine (Gee)
ABSTRACT
Rapid population growth in the southern part of Pekanbaru City has driven large-scale land conversion from vegetated areas to built-up zones, increasing surface Run off and flood risk. This study aimed to identify multitemporal land use changes in 1998, 2013, and 2025, and to analyze their effects on the Run off coefficient (C) and peak discharge (Q). Land use classification was performed using the Random Forest algorithm on Google Earth Engine (GEE) with Landsat 5 TM, Landsat 8 OLI, and Landsat 9 OLI-2 imagery, using two boundary approaches: administrative boundaries (12 sub districts) and sub watershed boundaries (6 Sub DAS). The composite Run off coefficient was calculated using SNI 2415:2016, and peak discharge was estimated using the Rational Method with Mononobe rainfall intensity. All Kappa Coefficient values exceeded 0.75 in 0,80-1, indicating Very Gooo. Based on administrative boundaries, built-up land increased by 24.71% and the composite C rose from 0.35 to 0.46 (31% increase). Based on Sub DAS boundaries, a 24.09% increase in built-up land resulted in a larger composite C increase, from 0.34 to 0.54 (59%). This study concludes that conversion of vegetated land to built-up areas consistently raises the Run off coefficient, indicating growing flood risk if not offset by adequate green open space and drainage infrastructure.
