Penerapan Teknik Icebreaker Untuk Meningkatkan Prestasi Belajar Siswa Pada Pokok Bahasan Koloid Di Kelas Xi Ipa Sma Negeri 7 Pekanbaru
Research on the application of tecnik Icebreaker has been conducted to determine the increase in student achievement on the topic of Koloid in class XI IPA SMA Negeri 7 Pekanbaru. This form of research is quasi-experiment research with randomized control group pretest-posttest design. The sample consisted of two classes, namely class XI IPA-1 as the control class and the class as a class XI IPA-2 eksperiment randomly selected after tests of normality and homogeneity test. Experiment class that were subjected of teknik Icebreaker while the control class is a class that untreated teknik Icebreaker. Based on the results obtained tvalue final calculation is 3,10 greater than ttable is 1,68 and the application this tecnik Icebreaker achievement is value N-Gain class eksperiment higher N-Gain class control. So it can be concluded that the application teknik Icebreaker to improve student’s achievement on the subject of koloid in class XI IPA SMA Negeri 7 Pekanbaru.
