Pengaruh Katup Ekspansi Termostatik Dan Pipa Kapiler Terhadap Performansi Mesin Pendingin Siklus Kompresi Uap Menggunakan Refrigeran Hcr-134a
The expansion device is an important part of the vapor compression cycle refrigeration machine which serves to decrease the pressure liquid refrigerant out of the condenser and regulate the flow of refrigerant to the evaporator entry. In addition to the expansion device, other important thing is the use of refrigerants. Good refrigerant is a refrigerant that has a high latent heat, power saving, and environmentally friendly. It is important to determine the performance of the refrigeration machine with the hydrocarbon refrigerant. From these tests, the result of the capillary tube COP of 1,25 m using HCR-134a is 5,6, for 1,5 m capillary tube is 5,8, for 2,7 m capillary tube is 5,3, and COP for TEV is 5,4. The COP result of 1,5 m capilary tube is the greatest because its evaporator and condenser pressures are the lowest. The average consumption of electric current in the 1,25 m capillary tube is 0,86 A, the 1,5 m capillary tube is 0,82 A, the capillary tube 2.7 m is 0,87 A, and for TEV is 0,85 A. The use of HCR-134a increases COP of 1,25 m and 1,5 m capillary tube by 29,92% and 15,46% of R-134a, as well as more efficient electric current by 10.8% and 9.7%. But for the 2,7 m capillary tube and TEV cause lower COP by 16% and 17.12% and electrical current up by 12.6% and 16.5%.
