Perbandingan Aktivitas Antibakteri Antara Lactobacillus Casei Subsp. Casei R-68 Dan Lactobacillus Casei Komersilterhadap Staphylococcus Aureus Fncc-15 Dan Escherichia Coli Fncc-19
The purpose of the study was to compare the antibacterial activity of Lactobacillus casei subsp. casei R-68 and Lactobacillus casei commercial against Staphylococcus aureus FNCC-15 and Escherichia coli FNCC-19. The research was carried out experimentally by testing isolates and cell-free supernatant of Lactobacillus casei subsp. casei R-68 and Lactobacillus casei commercial and to test the sensitivity to heat treatment (temperature 60ºC, 70ºC, 80ºC, 90ºC, 95ºC) and pH (4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9) in a petri dish that already contains pathogenic bacteria. Antibacterial activity was tested using the well diffusion method. The data obtained were tabulated and analyzed descriptively. The results showed that Lactobacillus casei subsp. casei R-68 has the ability to inhibit the growth of pathogenic bacteria smaller than Lactobacillus casei commercial. Lactobacillus casei subsp. casei R-68 and Lactobacillus casei commercial insensitive to heat treatment 60-95ºC characterized by antibacterial activity against pathogenic bacteria but is very sensitive to pH treatments 4-9 characterized by the loss of antibacterial activity. The average inhibition zone diameter of lactic acid bacteria isolates against Staphylococcus aureus FNCC-15 ranged from 7.40 to 8.10 mm and Escherichia coli FNCC-19 9.80 to 10.23 mm. The average value of inhibition zone diameter of the cell-free supernatant against Staphylococcus aureus FNCC-15 ranged from 7.10 to 7.88 mm and Escherichia coli FNCC-19 ranged from 8.35 to 9.75 mm.
