Estimasi Nilai Kerugian Ekonomi Petani Kelapa Akibat Air Pasang Di Kecamatan Reteh Kabupaten Indragiri Hilir

This research aims to know the magnitude of the estimated value and calculate the economic losses in the coconut farmer responsibilities because of the flood tide in Indragiri Hilir District Reteh District.
This research uses the cluster random sampling technique was then elected 45 people samples. Types of data used in this research is the primary data and the data of skunder. Methods of analysis used in this research is descriptive and qualitative.
From the results obtained that the characteristics of respondents who are all male-sex and low educated graduate of primary school (elementary school) while the majority of the main occupation is farming and did not have a job with the revenue side of the respondents revolve around Rp. 1,000,000-1.400.000 million and the number of dependants 4-5 persons. Has the average land area of 1.5-2.2 Ha and land area affected by flooding between 0.1-0.8. Total loss of coconut farmers received after the flood tide occurred due to loss of income and expense that are issued for the improvement of 601.514/Ha.
