Identifikasi Tenaga Kerja Industri Pengolahan Di Kecamatan Tapung Kabupaten Kampar

This research aims to identify local labor and non-local labor in the manufacturing industry in Tapung district of Kampar Regency by analyzing the aspects of age, gender, marital status, educational level, region of origin, number of dependents, length of work and wages. In order to reach these objectives the researcher used descriptive analysis method using secondary data from 253 samples of labor who work in PT. Rama Jaya Pramukti (PT. RJP), PT.PN V Sei Garo (PT.PN SGO), PT. PN V Sei Galuh (PT. PN SGH), PT. Peputra Masterindo (PT, PM) and PT. Sewangi Sawit Sejahtera (PT. SSS).
The results of the analysis indicated that PT. Rama Jaya Pramukti, PT.PN V Sei Garo, PT.PN V Sei Galuh and PT. Peputra Masterindo use recruitment system nationally since the company has been operated long before local legislation enacted / approved, while PT. Sewangi Sawit Sejahtera already started using the Regional Regulation No. 5 of 2009 on the local labor.
Then it is known that the characteristics of labor in the manufacturing industry in Tapung District were : age of labor generally 47-50 years 18.97%, gender of labor was more on males 96.44%, and marital status generally married 85, 77%.
In addition, if viewed from several aspects were : labor mostly graduated from senior high school 86.56%, came from outside of Tapung District, have 3 dependents people 37.55%, length of employment of labor is at 13-16 years 20.55% , and the average wages of the labor is in the range of Rp. 3,000,000 - 3.999.999, - that can be said is already above the minimum wage districts.
