Analisis Permintaan Obat Generik Di Kota Pekanbaru

This study aims to determine the Factors Affecting Demand Generic Drugs in Pekanbaru. This research was conducted in the city of Pekanbaru, Riau Province. This research uses descriptive quantitative data analysis with multiple linear regression model. Formulation of the problem in this study is Are income, the price substitution, education and type of work affect the demand for generic drugs communities in Pekanbaru. This study aims to determine the effect of income, prices and the education of the public demand for generic drugs in the city of Pekanbaru.
The research data was obtained from a questionnaire with a sample of 100 respondents in Singapore and some observations and interviews with relevant parties on the generic drugs which includes the identity of respondents, income, substitution drug prices, the level of education and type of work. The analytical method used in this research is multiple linear regression analysis.
The results showed that the adjusted R-square value of 0,383, which means that 38.3% of generic drug demand influenced jointly by the variables in the model. While the remaining 61.7% is influenced by other factors outside the model. Partially variable income (X1), the price of generic drugs sub (X2), influential jointly against the dependent variable is demand generics (Y) in Pekanbaru. While the variable level of education (X3) and not significant positive effect on the demand for generic drugs in Pekanbaru, and the type of work (X4) had no significant effect on demand for generic drugs in Pekanbaru.
