Pemetaan Sebaran Suhu Permukaan Laut Dan Hubunganya Dengan Hasil Tangkapan Ikan Cakalang (Katsuwonus Pelamis) Dengan Menggunakan Citra Satelit Aqua Modis Di Perairan Sumatera Barat
The purpose of the study is looking at the spatial variations in the sea surface temperature with aqua MODIS satellite imagery and the relationship between the distributrion of sea surface temperature and catches of cakalang (Katsuwonus pelamis) in waters off West Sumatra in 2013. The method used in this research is the survey method and spatial analysis. Based on the analysis of sea surface temperature using aqua MODIS satellite imagery in 2013 in the waters of West Sumatra is geographically located at 00 26’ NL – 40 50’ SL and 980 08’ EL – 1000 57’ E. Based on the analysis of c sea surface temperature using aqua MODIS satellite imagery in 2013, the cakalang fishing in the distribution of sea surface temperature 29,00-30,76 0C . The highest results in July with a total catch 81,9 ton with a value of CPUE 4,814 kg/settings. There is a relationship between the sea surface temperature and catches of cakalang (Katsuwonus pelamis). Keyword : Sea Surface Temperature, Katsuwonus pelamis, CPUE, aqua MODIS.
