Hubungan Suhu Permukaan Laut Dan Konsentrasi Klorofil-A Dengan Sebaran Ikan Tuna Mata Besar (Thunnus Obesus) Menggunakan Citra Satelit Aqua Modis Di Samudera Hindia
Determination of fishing ground is one factor in the success of fishing. Sea-surface temperature (SST) and chlorophyll-a are widely used in determining fishing ground, where satellite imagery is one of the ways in knowing SST and chlorophyll-a concentration in waters. This research aims to determine the relationship of SST and chlorophyll-a with the distribution of Bigeye Tuna (BET) at Indian Ocean. An analysis was performed using multiple regression analysis by placing CPUE as dependent variable, where SST and chlorophyll-a as independent variable. The data used were bigeye CPUE data and Aqua MODIS image level 3 of 2013. Data processing using QGIS and microsoft excel applications. The relationship of SST and chlorophyll-a with CPUE Bigeye Tuna in 2013 is 3%. Seasonally the highest correlation occurred in the west season of 22%. On a monthly basis the highest relationship occurred in April by 22%. Keyword : SST, Chlorophyll-a, Bigeye Tuna, CPUE, Aqua MODIS, Indian Ocean
