Variabilitas Spasial Dan Temporal Upaya Penangkapan Ikan Tuna Madidihang (Thunnus Albacares) Yang Didaratkan Di Pelabuhan Perikanan Samudera Bungus
Visualization of fishing effort yellowfin tuna to provides overview information on the description of the distribution pattern, direction of movement and trend of fishing effort yellowfin tuna in area that is expected to fishing rate. The purpose of this research was to determine variability spatial (fishing area) and temporal (annual, seasonal and monthly) fishing effort yellowfin tuna in 2013. Data were obtained from the logbook tuna longline vessels landed in Bungus Fishing Port. The analysis used in this research is density analysis using a heatmap. The annual variability fishing effort yellowfin tuna has a value range of 0,8333 to 5.994. The value range is symbolized by the color green (high) and red (lower). CPUE in 2013 amounted to 203.523,26 number per 1.000 hooks and covered 153.792 km2 areas around the Mentawai Strait, Siberut Strait to the Indian Ocean west of Sumatra. The highest CPUE occurs in the East season which is located in the Mentawai Strait and Siberut Strait. In this season the fishing effort of 830.886,27 number per 1.000 hooks in a total area of 60.208 km2. While monthly CPUE shows the highest effort occurred in June which is located around the Mentawai Strait to the southern island of Siberut that is equal to 4.121.208,47 number per 1.000 hooks and covered 14.800 km2. The decrease and increase of area is not followed by the value of CPUE with the correlation coefficient (r2) of 0,38. Spatial and temporal visualization was helpful for predicting fish abundance and might improve sustainable fisheries management, especially yellowfin tuna. Key word : Fishing effort, Indian Ocean, spatial and temporal, heatmap, variability, yellowfin tuna.
