Variabilitas Spasial Dan Temporal Upaya Penangkapan Ikan Tuna Mata Besar (Thunnus Obesus) Yang Didaratkan Di Pelabuhan Perikanan Samudera Bungus
Big eye tuna was the highest fish production in the Bungus Fishing Port and during 2017 the production reached 268.73 tons. The aim of research to determine the spatial and temporal variability of Catch per Unite Effort (CPUE) bigeye tuna in west of West Sumatra waters, Indonesia. A set of 2013 longline fishing logbooks were used. Microsoft Excel and Quantum Geographic Information System application used to process the data. A Kernel Density Estimator (KDE) was used to build heatmap. Top heatmap region with the highest CPUE values found in the east monsoon around 316,675.70 individu/1000 of hooks/pixel area with a total area of 23,792 km², around east of Siberut Island. The minimum value during this monsoon was 3.33 while the maximum value was 21,624.39 individu/1000 of hooks/pixel area. East monsoon was recommended for fishing activities during year of 2013.
