Washing is a routine that everyone does. Therefore the business opportunity for such activities is needed. Many townspeople barely have time to wash their own clothes. As a result, laundry services are increasingly needed. Drying is a process of discharging water contained in a dried material. In the drying process it is necessary to have a dry air fluid capable of absorbing water in the material. Efforts that can be made to make the dry air is to warm up the air. Refrigeration machines are one type of energy conversion engine, in which a certain amount of energy is required to produce a cooling effect. The exhaust heat that is released into the environment is usually wasted unattended. One of them by utilizing the heat is wasted to dry clothes. The method is called the dehumidifier method, which is a device that lowers moisture from the air. This tool uses a fan to suck the humid air, which blows through a series of cold tubes. The shape of this made dryer is no different from the ordinary cupboard. Its function is to dry wet clothes (after squeezing). The capacity is 29 pieces of clothing with a drying time for 3 hours. The type of refrigerant used in this research is refrigerant 22 and pipe length used is 0.58 m for evaporator and 0.64 m for condenser with total drying load 193,778 watts.
