The purpose of research to get the best rope spinning technique made from pineapple leaves. The method used in this study is the experimental method to test for breaking strength and elongation rope. Breaking strength and elongation values pineapple leaves twisted rope was 4.9 kgf and 18.6 mm. Pineapple leaves braided rope has a breaking strength and elongation values are 4.44 kgf and 17.1 mm. The results showed that the twisting is the best technique in the making of rope from pineapple leaves
