Pengaruh Geomorfologi Laut Dan Pantai Terhadap Pola Arus Dan Pasang Surut Desa Putik Kecamatan Palmatak Kabupaten Kepulauan Anambas Provinsi Kepulauan Riau

This research was conducted from January - February 2017, in Putik Village, Palmatak District, Anambas Island, Province of Riau Archipelago. The purpose of this study is to observe the current and tidal patterns observed from view of oceanographic physics and coastal geomorphology, to know the geomorfological influence of the coastal of the research area and to describe the pattern of surface currents. The method used is survey method that is explorative, purposive sampling technic to determination of location for taking data, langrangian method to measure of the currrent. The result showed that the analysis of formzahl number concluded the tidal type in Putik Village is a tidal daily type diurnal tide which means that in one day there is one tide and one time subsided within 12 hours. Waters Putik Village, the current movement that occurs is influenced by the tides. The current pattern that follows the tidal changes every day. The mangrove forest on the island affects the fast and slow rate of incoming and outgoing currents. The depth also takes an important role in the influence of the current velocity of the research area where the shallower waters the passing current is slower, and currents passing through the deep waters are affected by the density. Based on the data analysis and the morphology of the waters of the research area gives a very large influence on the pattern and velocity of the current.
