Analisis Kandungan Pencemar Logam Berat Pb Dan Zn Pada Air, Sedimen Dan Kepiting Bakau (Scylla Serrata) Di Desa Tanjung Pasir Kecamatan Tanah Merah Kabupaten Indragiri Hilir Provinsi Riau
Heavy metals in the water might be accumulated in the sediments as well in the aquatic organisms such as crab. The purpose of this research is to understand the Pb and Zn content in the water, sediment and in the mangrove crab (Scylla serrata) present in the waters of Kuala Enok estuary. This research was conducted in March 2017. There were 3 stations, in the cruise line (St 1), in the area with high anthropogenic activities (St2) and in the area with no human activity (St3). Samplings were conducted 3 times, once/ 2 days. Results shown that the highest concentration of Pb and Zn was present in station II. In the water, the concentration of Pb was 0.0529 mg/L and Zn was 0.177 Mg/L, in the sediment Pb was 1.8757 mg/g and Zn was 3.2396 mg/g. In the mangrove crab the Pb concentration was 3.0561 mg/g and Zn was 5.3895 mg/g. The concentrations of Pb and Zn in water and sediments show that the study area has been contaminated, which can then interfere with the survival of aquatic organisms.
