Gambaran Undiagnosed Dislipidemia Pada Calon Pegawai Negeri Sipil Yang Menjalani Medical Check Up Di RSUD Arifin Achmad Provinsi Riau Tahun 2011-2015
Cardiovascular disease is the largest cause of death globally. One risk factor for
cardiovascular disease is dyslipidemia, so early detection of dyslipidemia before
anycomplications emerge is needed. This study aimed to describe undiagnosed dyslipidemia
on probationary civil servant who underwent Medical Check Up at RSUD Arifin Achmad
Riau Province in 2011-2015. This research was a descriptive cross sectional study on
secondary data of 2,372medical records which fulfilled the inclusion criteria with a total
sampling techniques. The study results thatundiagnosed dyslipidemia was occured in 26,7%
of the research population. Dyslipidemia is also more susceptible to the male gender (55%)
and those with a body mass index of obesity (38,7%). The number of respondents who have
risk factors and no risk factors for cardiovascular disease based on the ratio of LDL/HDL
amount almost equal (50,7% and 49,3%), and the most common dyslipidemia based on
ESC/EAS classification is hypercholesterolemia (68,7%). The study concludedthat
undiagnosed dyslipidemiaon probationary civil servant who underwent Medical Check Up at
RSUD Arifin Achmad Riau Province in 2011-2015 occured approximately in a quarter of
research population.
