Gambaran Faal Paru Pekerja Pabrik Karet Perusahaan Perindustrian Dan Perdagangan Bangkinang Di Pekanbaru

Nowadays, the growth of the industry especially in the sectors of the rubber industry is progressing very rapidly. Rubber Factory is the industry in general using chemicals to process the raw material of the rubber. PT P&P Bangkinang is a private company in the field of rubber plantation that produces crumb rubber. This rubber factory in its manufacturing process, uses chemicals that are able to contaminated air. This research was conducted descriptive research to know the description of lung problems in rubber factory workers exposed parts of the production of chemical material at PT P&P Bangkinang in 2016. The sample in this study include the entire section of rubber production was 70 workers.
Based on the research, the workers found with lung malfunction were 34 workers (49%) consists of 23 workers (33%) restrictive lung disorders, 2 workers (3%) obstructive pulmonary disorders and 9 workers (13%) mixed. Workers found the most impaired lung function in workers who are aged >30-≤50 years were 37 workers, who had worked >5 years of 28 workers, had a smoking history of 19 workers, not using respiratory protective equipment were 23 workers, had underweight and obese nutritional status of 7 workers.
