Karakteristik Pasien Kanker Prostat Stadium Lanjut Di RSUD Arifin Achmad Provinsi Riau Periode Januari 2010-Desember 2016
Prostate cancer is the the fifth most frequently diagnosed malignancy of males in Indonesia, whilst advanced stage is mostly found (50.5%). This study was aim to obtain characteristics of advanced stage prostate cancer patients in Arifin Achmad General Hospital. This study was a crossectional descriptive by using medical records of advanced stage prostate cancer patients visiting the hospital during the study period in the form of patient age, rectal toucher, Prostate Spesific Antigen (PSA) level, histopatology, prostate volume measurement, bone scan and treatment with hormonal therapy such as Androgen Deprivation Therapy (ADT) and radiotherapy combined with hormonal therapy in Arifin Achmad General Hospital period January 2010-December 2016. This study obtained 41 advanced stage prostate cancer men. The majority of advanced stage prostate cancer patients were 61-70 years old (40,47%) and most abnormal rectal toucher found in advanced stage prostate cancer patients (69,05%). Most of the patients have 61-80 ml prostate volume (19,05%). Most of the patients were diagnosed with initial PSA >100 ng/ml (47,6%) with gleason score of poorly differentiated as the most common score (80,96%). The bone scan results showed that 12 adenocarcinoma patients (28,57%) were negative for metastasis. Using treatment with Androgen Deprivation Therapy for advanced prostate cancer patients show the highest result (78,58%).
