Uji Antagonis Dan Potensi Senyawa Antifungi Tiga Isolat Trichoderma Virens Tr01, Ts02 Dan Tm01 Endofit Tanaman Kelapa Sawit Terhadap Rigidoporus Microporus Secara In-Vitro
White root fungus is a common disease and very harmful to the rubber plant. Frequent controls have been carried by infected plant sanitation, sulfur sowing, biofungicide-based use of microorganisme and synthetic fungicidies, but have not been effective in controlling the disease. This study aims to determine the antifungal potential of three strains of oil palm three Trichoderma virens endophytic to inhibit in-vitro growth of Rigidoporus microporus. The research was conducted at Biofertilizer Industrial Unit and Biopesticide (BICCOM), Biochemistry Laboratory and Genetics Laboratory of Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences of Riau University for 4 months from February to June 2017. The experiment was conducted experimentally using a complete randomized design (CRD), consisting of 4 treatments and 6 replications to obtain 24 experimental units. Each experimental unit was repeated as many as 2 replications so that the total number of experiment was 48 units. Data obtained were analyzed statistically by analysis of variance (ANOVA) and continued with advanced test of honestly significance diffirence (HSD) at 5% level. The results showed that T. virens TR01 had the highest growth rate (18.96 mm/day), largest colony diameter (90 mm) and best antagonistic ability (71,11%) in inhibiting R. microporus fungus growth in-vitro. Media extracts from T. virens TR01 and TS02 could inhibit R. microporus fungal growth by (25.74% and 24.81%).
