Jenis Dan Populasi Lalat Buah (Bactrocera Spp.) Pada Tanaman Jambu Air Varietas Deli Hijau (Syzygium Samarangense) Di Kecamatan Tenayan Raya, Kota Pekanbaru
Fruit Fly (Bactrocera spp.) is one of pest that attack rose apple in Tenayan Raya subdistrict Pekanbaru. Observation of spesies and fruit fly pest populations are important for application monitoring on Integrated Pest Control Management (IPM). This research aims to determine species and population of fruit fly (Bactrocera spp.) on rose apple Deli Hijau variety (Syzygium samarangense) in Tenayan Raya subdistrict Pekanbaru. This research has been carried out by purposive sampling method with criteria of the largest rose apple estate and attacked by fruit fly. Observations were carried out by selecting 2 estates attacked by fruit fly which were estate A with area of 0,25 ha and estate B with area of 0,21 ha. Sample plants were systematically selected with lane patterns. Imago of fruit flies were collected in 2 ways: First using relative method, taking by using the field petrogenol trap was observed daily for 7 days. Second, using absolute method, taking the fruit attacked in the field. Parameters observed were description of location, species and population of fruit flies, and intensity of attack. The result of the research on the species of fruit flies obtained were B. carambolae, B. papayae, B. umbrosa, and B. albistrigata. Species B. carambolae was the highest population obtained in Tenayan Raya sub-district with number of 597 tails. The intensity of fruit fly attack on rose apple Deli Hijau variety in Tenayan Raya sub-district was moderate at 31%.
