Pengaruh Beberapa Dosis Pupuk Hayati Dan Pupuk N, P, K Terhadap Pertumbuhan Dan Hasil Tanaman Jagung Manis (Zea Mays Saccharata Sturt)
The research aimed to study the interaction of biofertilizer and N, P and K fertilizer which produced the best growth and yields of sweet corn. The research was conducted at experimental garden of Faculty of Agriculture, University of Riau. This study was conducted on October 2015 until January 2016. This research is a Completely Randomizeof Factorial, that consist of two factors such as: first factor is biofertilizer consists of 3 levels : biofertilizer 50 liters/ha (U1), 100 liters/ha (U2), 150 liters/ha, and the second factor is N, P, K fertilizer consists of 4 levels: without N, P, K fertilizer (P0), ¼ recommended dosage of N, P, K (P1), ½ recommended dosage of N, P, K (P2) and ¾ recommended dosage of N, P, K (P3). The data from analysis of variance, continued with Duncan’s New Multiple Range Test 5% level. The parameters observed were plant height, leaf area, appeared male and female flower, harvest age, diameter of cob, length of cob, weight of cobs without cornhusk and number of rows. From the research, it was concluded that the application of biofertilizer without the provision of inorganic (N, P, K) fertilizers could improve the supply of nutrients for sweet corn to result best growth and production.Provision of biofertilizers 50 liters/ha without N, P, K fertilizer resulted 15,050 tons/ha of cobs without cornhusk.
