Gambaran Histopatologi Hepar Mencit (Mus musculus) Setelah Pemaparan Paraquat
Paraquat is a contact herbicide that is often used in developing countries, including Indonesia. The use of paraquat that is not according to the rules can cause poisoning in humans. Paraquat damages organs including the liver, causing systemic failure. The purpose of this study was to determine the effects of paraquat on liver histopathology overview of mice (Mus musculus). This study is an experimental research design with post test only with control and using 15 mice in the sample were divided into 5 groups. One group was the control group. Four groups as treatment groups received different doses of paraquat those are 25 mg / kg / day, 50 mg / kg / day, 75 mg / kg / day and 100 mg / kg / day for 7 days by spraying. Analysis of the data using One Way ANOVA and Kruskal-Wallis test as an alternative. The results of this study showed centrilobular necrosis on histopathology overview of the treatment groups with a score that increases with increasing the dose given. This study also showed a significant correlation between histopathological damage of liver of mice (Mus musculus) with graded doses of paraquat exposure for 7 days (p=0.023). In conclusion, there are significant changes in liver histopathology overview of mice (Mus musculus) after paraquat exposure for 7 days.
