Meningkatkan Kemampuan Motorik Halus Melalui Bermain Plastisin Clay Pada Anak Usia 4-5 Tahun Di Tk Harapan Bunda Kampung Jayapura Kecamatan Bungaraya Kabupaten Siak
The background of this research is still the lack of fine motor ability of children, can be seen some children still can not neatly mingled, some children can not coordinate eyes and hands can be seen when the child holding scissors, some children can not mimic the manipulation movement to produce Various forms. Therefore, it is necessary efforts that can improve the fine motor skills of children is by playing Clay. The purpose of this research is to know the improvement of fine motor ability of children through playing Clay, to know how to apply play and to know how high improvement of fine motor ability through play Clay. The type of research used is classroom action research (PTK). The research design is done in two cycles, namely cycle 1 and cycle II, each cycle consists of planning stage, implementation stage, observation stage, and reflection stage. The data collection tool used in this research is in the form of observation sheet. The number of samples in this study were 15 children. And the benefits for children is the increasing ability of fine motor through children playing clay. Based on the assessment process analysis of the cycle there is an increase. The results obtained from this study are very satisfactory because it gets a mean value that is very meaningful from before the action of cycle I and from cycle I to cycle II, that is from the average value of 29,72% increased to 36,67% with the percentage increase 23,38% and from 36,67% increased to 56,76% with the percentage increase of 54,79%. From the results of the study concluded that clay play has a positive impact on children and can improve fine motor skills in children.
