Meningkatkan Kemampuan Membaca Permulaan Melalui Media Puzle Huruf Pada Anak Usia 5-6 Tahun Di Ra Modern Darul Huda,Tri Mulya Jaya,Kecamatan Ukui Kabupaten Pelalawan
The background of this research is that there are many children who lack the ability to read the beginning, where when the children do activities to understand the letters, for example in the search for a piece of letters, searching for syllable pieces and looking for a piece of the word. In addition, in the development of the teacher's early reading ability is also less common to provide media and methods that vary in activities, so the child quickly bored and lazy to do its activities. The purpose of this research is 1) To know whether the application of puzle hurf media can improve the process and result of reading the beginning in modern Ra Darul Huda. 2) To know the ability to read the beginning of the child through the media puzle in RA Modern darul Huda Ukui District Pelalawan District. 3) To know the magnitude of children's reading ability improvement through Puzzle media. This type of research is a classroom action research conducted in 2 cycles. The data collection tool used in this research is in the form of observation sheet. The number of samples in this study were 14 children consisting of 7 girls 7 boys. And benefits for children is the increasing ability to read the beginning of the child through mediapuzle letters. Based on the assessment process analysis of 2 cycles an increase. The study continued on cycle I to know the improvement of children's reading ability through the media puzle letter of 49.51% with the criteria MB (Start Developing). Can be seen from the preliminary data before the cycle and cycle I showed an increase from 36.07% to 49.51% there is an increase of 37.26% and the percentage increase is still in the criteria MB (Start Developing), then should be continued cycle II.
