Studi Pertumbuhan Mikroalga Chlorella Sp. Dengan Nutrien Air Limbah Tahu Yang Telah Diremediasi Oleh Eichornia Crassipes
Macro and micronutrient in the tofu liquid waste that have been phytoremediated using Eichornia crassipes may increase and it may suitable for culturing Chlorella sp. To understand the potency of phytoremediated tofu industry liquid waste for nutrient source in the Chlorella sp culture, a study has been conducted in February-March 2017. There were 4 treatments applied, namely P1 (0% waste), P2 (65% waste), P3 (75% waste) and P4 (85% waste). Chlorella sp was cultured in the treatment media for 20 days. Parameters measured were Chlorella biomass, nitrate, phosphate and CO2 content, pH and temperature of the media. Results shown that the best media was P4, with 10,202,667 Chlorella cells/ml and biomass 0.0550 mg/L. The lowest was in the P1, with 749,333 Chlorella cells/ml and biomass 0.0035 mg/L. During the Chlorella culture, nitrate and phosphate concentration reduced, from 4.64 to 0.23 mg/L and from 21.74 to 8.29 mg/L respectively. Based on data obtained, it can be concluded that the phytoremediated tofu industry liquid waste can be used as nutrient source in the Chlorella culture media.
