Analisis Perbandingan Usahatani Kakao Pola Berbantuan Dengan Pola Swadaya Di Kecamatan Benai Kabupaten Kuantan Singingi

The technique used in this research is purposive sampling. Stages of data analysis include (1) Analysis of cocoa farmer's income assisted pattern and self-help pattern that is calculate (farm cost, gross income, net income, and family work income). (2) Analysis of the efficiency of cocoa farming assisted pattern and self-help pattern. (3) Comparative analysis of cocoa farming income of assisted pattern with self-help pattern. The result of research with average of cocoa area of aid pattern is 0,21 Ha obtained by net income (Rp.4.548.894,25 / lg / th) then cocoa farming pattern is appropriate and efficient aid where the value of Return Cost Ratio ≥ 1 based on cultivated land 2.4. While the self-supporting pattern with the average land area of 0.17 Ha cocoa obtained net income (Rp.3.430.223,35 / lg/ th) then cocoa farming is also feasible and efficient where the value of Return Cost Ratio ≥ 1 based on arable land 2.3 . The result of independent sample t-test conducted by using SPSS to know the comparison of cocoa farmer's income with assisted pattern of self-help obtained by significance value 0,040
