Persepsi Petani Terhadap Peran Kelembagaan Agribisnis Sistem Integrasi Sapi-Kelapa Sawit (Siska) Di Kecamatan Kerumutan Kabupaten Pelalawan
Integrated agriculture is an agricultural activity carried out by involving or integrating agriculture in a broad sense. SISKA is a combination of palm oil plantation management with cattle where palm oil bark is used as animal feed while livestock manure is used as a source of organic fertilizer and biogas which aims to improve efficiency and productivity of agricultural land. So as to increase the greater revenue. The purpose of this study is to know the institutions that support the agribusiness subsystem in the application of SISKA, and to determine the perception of farmers on the role of institutions in supporting SISKA agribusiness subsystems. This research was conducted in Kerumutan District of Pelalawan Regency in June to November 2017. The research method is survey with sampling technique done by census. The results of the study show that institutional support for agribusiness subsystems of SISKA are government institutions, extension agencies, cooperative, marketing, guarantee institutions and risk insurers, finance institutions, research institutions and education institutions. Perceptions of farmers on the role of agribusiness institutions in the application of SISKA in Kerumutan District of Pelalawan Regency is categorized as "enough role". Institutions are included in the category of "Very Played" namely educational institutions. That are included in the "role" category, namely government agencies and extension agencies. Included in the category of "Simply Role" is a financing institution and research institute. That fall under the category of "Lack of Action" cooperative and risk institute institutions. That fall into the category of "Very Less Role" is a marketing agency.
