Analisa Pola Aliran Air Bawah Tanah Untuk Sistem Akuifer Bebas Di Kecamatan Marpoyan Damai Dengan Metode Darcy
Water is one of the main elements that support life on Earth. With the rapid development and increasing human population in the District Marpoyan Damai, it increases also the human need for water, especially the increasing human dependence on water sourced from underground. Explorations aimed at finding underground water resources have been done. Darcy method is one of the appropriate methods to discover the existence of underground water, by measuring the depth of the two wells that we can be known distance apart hydraulic gradient of groundwater. Contour map of groundwater flow was created by the program of surfer 11. Research aimed at determining the groundwater flow pattern has been conducted on the District Marpoyan Peace on 200 boreholes citizens scattered on the 10 lines and 20 boreholes scattered in each line. Each line is made up of straight lines connecting each boreholes that latitude position was kept constant. Gradient signs positive and negative provides the groundwater flow which deviates in a cross section of the flow. The analysis showed that the depth of the underground water table is 10-23 meters below the ground surface with the majority of the flow that leads to the southwest, west and northwest, and thus the effective drilling to locate the wellbore is at a depth of 10-23 meters.
Keywords: Free Aquifer, hydraulic gradient, flow direction, and the line.
