Meningkatkan Kemampuan Membaca Permulaan Melalui Penggunaan Media Gambar Berseri Pada Anak Usia 5-6 Tahun Di PAUD Miftahul Ulum Kecamatan Tanah Merah Kabupaten Indragiri Hilir
Type of research used is Classroom Action Research. Classroom action research is a research conducted by teachers in their own class through self-reflection in order to improve their performance as teachers, so that students' learning outcomes become increasing. The design of this study is a classroom action research, ie teachers as researchers. The research flow will be carried out based on the following chart: The subjects of this study are students in Early Childhood Miftahul Ulum Subdistrict Tanah Merah Indragiri Hilir regency amounted to 15 people, men 6 children, women 9 children. The data of this research is data about the ability of reading Beginnings in children aged 5-6 years in early childhood Miftahul Ulum Tanah Merah Indragiri Hilir regency. In this data collection using observation sheet instrument. Types of data used are qualitative anecdotes or note the ability of children, children activities and educator activities, while the quantitative data in the form of numbers increase the ability and activity of children and educators in the form of percentage. Data analysis used in this research is qualitative-quantitative descriptive data analysis. Based on the results of pre-cycle research seen the ability of reading the beginning of children in early childhood Miftahul Ulum Tanah Merah Indragiri Hilir regency as a whole obtained the number of scores 283.33 with the average percentage of 40.48% entered in the category of MB. Cycle I meeting 1 obtained the total score of 293.33 with an average percentage of 41.90% entered in the MB category. The first cycle of meeting 2 obtained the total score of 189 with an average percentage of 45% entered in the MB category. Cycle I of Meeting 3 obtained the total score of 235 with the average percentage of 55.92% entered in the BSH category. From the results of recapitulation cycle I in the know that the increase of observation result of the reading ability of the students in the first cycle of meetings 1,2 and 3 obtained the number of score 608 with the average percentage of 47.62% entered in the category Started Developing (MB). The second cycle of meeting 1 obtained the total score of 258 with the average percentage of 61.43% entered in the category of BSH. The second cycle of meeting 2 obtained the total score of 345 with the average percentage of 82.14% entered in the BSB category. Cycle II of Meeting 3 obtained the number of scores 374 with average percentage 89.05% entered in the category of BSB. From the recapitulation result, it is found that the increase of observation result of students reading ability in the second cycle of meeting 1,2 and 3 obtained the number of score 983 with the average of percentage 78,01% entered in category Berkembang Sangai Baik (BSB). From the calculation of the analysis can be seen that the increase that occurred in cycle I is equal to 18%. Here it is seen that the increase is quite significant. But it needs to be continued in cycle II. From the calculation of the increase analysis that occurred in cycle II is 62%. Here it is seen that the increase is quite significant and does not need to be continued in cycle III. From the calculation of the increase analysis that occurs from pre cycle to cycle II is 93%.
