Research on the design and analysis of coils with geometry of square with sides of 12cm x12cm and the number of windings which varies namely 50, 150, and 300. The value of the magnetic induction generated by the coils was measured using a magnetic probe Pasco 2162 PS.- The value of the magnetic induction was measured as a function of distance, current, and the number of windings and then recorded in a computer using Data Studio software. The values of the magnetic induction was then compared with the values of the magnetic induction generated by circular coils. The maximum value of the magnetic induction produced at the center of the coils. For the coils with a number of turns of 50 and applied current of 1.0 A produces a magnetic induction with an average value of 4.29x10-2mT. The value of magnetic induction increases with increasing the number of windings and the amount of electrical current applied. For the coils with the number of windings of 150 and 300,and applied current of 10.0A produced magnetic induction respectively of 8.49x10-2 and 9.34x10-2 mT.This increase as expected where the magnetic field is proportional to the current value (I) and the number of windings (N). The value of magnetic induction decreases as the distance increases from the center of the coils in the horizontal direction.
