A research has been done in distillation peat water using solar energy heaters concave reflector mirror with two variations of different containers, each container is made of aluminum, one painted black and the other without painted. Concave mirror reflector is made with a diameter of 2.2 meters, height of 0.3 meter mirror and its focal length of 1 meter. Reflector placed on the ground and lit directly by sunlight. Collector containing peat water samples reflectors placed on the right in the position of the focal point. During heating, the temperature was measured every hour with observation time from 08.00 to 16.00. Observations were made during the fourteen days, ie the first seven days of observation to the container without painted and seven days a second container painted black in the sunny weather. The results showed that the maximum temperature of the peat water samples of use containers without painted is 89˚C and the maximum temperature at the focal point is 93˚C. Results peat water distillation highest volume 311 ml is obtained. Observations for distillation in black painted container obtained maximum temperature of 91˚C and peat water is the maximum temperature at the focal point was 96C. Results peat water distillation highest volume 355 ml is obtained. Results of laboratory testing of peat water samples of prior to distillation of the color parameter is 1368 Pt-Co and laboratory testing peat water after distillation to 65 Pt-Co, it shows the sample after the distillation process has increased the quality is very significant.
