Strategi Pengembangan Industri Nata De Coco Di Kota Pekanbaru

This research implemented in Pekanbaru. The purpose of this research is for know the stratey development industrial of Nata De Coco in Pekanbaru City.
This research use primary data and secondary data obtained directly from the owners of the industry respondents Nata De Coco in Pekanbaru city and from the Department of industry and trade as well as the central departement of statistic Pekanbaru City. In the determination population and sample using census method that is all population is research sample. The methods used in this research is Descriptive Quantitative and analysis tools used is SWOT.
The results show that industry of Nata De Coco in Pekanbaru City the located on quadran I where on this position has a strong position and a chance for development. Strength of industry Nata De Coco is the recruitment and development of Human Resources/labour, supervision of the activities of production, a relationship with labour, availability labour, product (quality), and the price is achievable. as for become the probability on this industry Nata De Coco is the support condition economy, demand of the market, the consumption of society, the development of inhabitant, that is increasing,distance of the industry location with the main ingredient, transportation path, the use of the production technology and development product.
