Studi Awal Sistem Deteksi Kematangan Tandan Buah Segar Kelapa Sawit Menggunakan Pencitraan Berbasis Laser
Laser based remote imaging system for ripeness of oil palm fresh fruit bunch (FFB) is potential to substitute traditional method of ripeness detection. The purpose of this research is to make a optical system for remote ripeness detection and to analyze the relation of Red Green Blue (RGB) intensity and ripeness levels. The system consisted of two diode lasers with 650 nm and 532 nm of wavelength, CMOS camera, a biconcave lens, a color filter, and samples. The samples are FFB variety Tenera type A and B with different ripeness levels. The samples are placed at different heights. When laser pass biconcave lens, light spread and hit FFB. CMOS camera records the image of FFB without and with laser light. Images are processed by software ImageJ to obtain RGB intensity of image. The research results showed that the highest RGB without using is 53,24 a.u (arbitrary unit) for Tenera A, and 43,81 a.u for Tenera B. Both for overripe FFB (F4) RGB intensity ripeness levels of Tenera A is higher at 1,5 m which is 44,75 a.u, and lower at 2,5 m which is 29,04 a.u. Meanwhile RGB intensity Tenera B is higher at 1,5 m which is 40,52 a.u for F4. RGB intensity Tenera A using laser 532 nm is higher at 1,5 m which is 195,64 a.u, and lower at 3 m which is 97,41 a.u. Meanwhile RGB intensity Tenera B using laser 650 nm is higher at 1,5 m which is 158,14 a.u, and lower at 2 m which is 134,10 a.u.
