This research was conducted in the business of fried onions in Kelurahan Tuah Karya located in District Handsome, Pekanbaru, Riau Province. The purpose of this study was to clarify the feasibility of fried onion industry from the aspects of the market and marketing, engineering and technology, social, political and cultural, economic environment, human resource management, financial. The method used in this research is descriptive analysis, The analysis used the Net Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate of Return (IRR) and Net Benefit Cost Ratio (BCR).
Fried onion industry often encounter problems regarding working capital constraints so that business owners can not develop their business in addition to the limited business capital also makes business owners difficulties in obtaining raw materials. Fried onion industry obtain employment of the family so rarely experiencing labor shortages, and generally have experience because quite a lot of fried onions industrik long-established so that the experience possessed sufficient support efforts ini.Industri fried onion industry often experience problems such as difficulty in obtaining peking onion raw materials, so that business owners limited to produksiakan effect on income people who can take advantage of this opportunity.
