Prestasi Kincir Air Sudu Melengkung Tipe Undershot Sebagai Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Air Pikohidro Pada Saluran Irigasi
The study of waterwheels curved undershot type is done in order to find a source of energy as an electricity generator. The picohydro generator test equipment is produced based on field survey data. The test is carried out by varying the flow rate and torque load and then calculations are performed to determine the performance of the waterwheel. From the test it is known that the maximum power of the generated plant is 154 W at the flow rate of 0.22 m³ / s. Meanwhile, the efficiency of the waterwheel increases as the speed of rotation increases and decreases at a certain rotational speed. Waterwheel curved undershot type can be applied to irrigation channels.
