Pengembangan Perangkat Pembelajaran Menggunakan Pendekatan Pendidikan Matematika Realistik Guna Mengembangkan Kemampuan Literasi Matematika Peserta Didik Tingkat SMP/MTS
This research was conducted due to limited learning devices as
the implementation of revised version 2013 curriculum (2017), which integrate
literacy on learning process. Literacy is more than reading and writing, but it
includes thinking skills using printed, visual, digital, and auditory sources of
knowledge. The Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA) study on
the mathematical literacy of Indonesian students is still far below the average
score, which become an evaluation for teachers. The purpose of this paper is to
produce valid and practical Lesson Plan (RPP) and Student Worksheet (LKPD)
for junior high school level using Realistic Mathematics Education (RME).
Development model used is 4-D model (define, design, develop and disseminate)
by S. Thiagarajan, Dorothy S. Semmel, and Melvyn I, which is deliberately done
only until the development phase. The data analysis result indicated quality of
RPP and LKPD based on validity aspect shows average score of 3.74 and 3.59
each, categorized as very valid. This LKPD also meets the requirements of
practicality with the percentage of students' response reaches 88.57% in large
group trials. It can be concluded that RPP and LKPD are specified as valid and
practically meets the requirements.
