Abstract: This research entitled Improving Speech Capability Through
Role Playing Method For Children Aged 4-5 Years From Remote Indigenous
Community in PAUD Mandiri Village Base of Libut Bengkalis Sub-District
Pengkalan. The purpose of this research is to know whether through role playing
method can improve the ability of speaking in Indonesian language for children
aged 4-5 years. This type of research is Classroom Action Research method
(PTK). A reflection of deliberate activity, and occurs in an implementation class
with two cycles, each cycle using the following four stages: 1) Planning stage 2)
Implementation stage 3) Observation stage 4) Reflection stage. During the
execution of cycles I and II there is a high increase in speech skills of children,
where the average results obtained before the action of 40.25% in the first cycle
of improvement in the ability to speak children occur at 4.25 with an average
value of 44.5 and cycle II again an increase of 32.17%. With an average value of
76.67%.
