Meningkatkan Kemampuan Membaca Permulaan Melalui Metode Bernyanyi Pada Anak Usia 5-6 Tahun di PAUD Cahaya Kid’s Kecamatan Tenayan Raya Kota Pekanbaru
Abstract: The aim of this research is 1) to know whether through singing method can improve the reading ability of 5-6 year old child in PAUD Cahaya Kids, Tenayan Raya subdistrict, Pekanbaru city, 2) to know how to apply singing method to improve the reading ability at the beginning of age 5-6 Year in PAUD Cahaya Kids Tenayan Raya District Pekanbaru City, and 3) to know how big improvement of reading ability of beginning of child aged 5-6 years through method of singing in PAUD Cahaya Kids Tenayan Raya Town of Pekanbaru. The subjects in this study are Children at the age of 5-6 years where the child is 10 people, consisting of 5 girls and 5 boys .. Type of research used PTK (Research Action Class). Based on the results of the study showed that 1) the use of singing method to improve early reading ability of early child aged 5-6 years implemented by way of cycle I and cycle II meeting I sing with sub theme ball, cycle I and cycle II meeting II singing with sub theme Balloons as well as cycle I and cycle II meeting III singing with sub theme candle, 2) by applying the method of singing is a fun activity especially when the age of 5-6 years, children can express themselves through the method of singing. Without them realizing Children can learn to read by singing. So the use of singing method can improve the reading ability of the beginning of the child, 3) the percentage improvement of reading ability of the beginning of children aged 5-6 years with the method of singing in PAUD Cahaya Kid's District Tenayan Raya Pekanbaru City is 41% from cycle I to cycle II and 83% Before cycle to cycle II.
