Abstract : based on prasurvaey which the author conducted in August at 12 institutions of OLD and sewilayah Subdistricts Sukajadi Pekanbaru on school principals in district leadership Sukajadi Pekanbaru, found the following symptoms: lack of responsibility of the head of the upper school work that he received; Lack of discipline discipline head of school, it can be seen the head of the school is rarely available, OLD existing Sub-districts in the Sukajadi 50% managed by foundations and 50% owned, so the pattern of management leadership was deeply affected by the interests of the owners of the institution that boils down to personal business, leader in the OLD institutions in Sukajadi less welfare labor educators so that pendidiknya is less termotifasi to perform to its full potential , The principal is not doing the evaluation of the activity of organization of the system of teaching and learning in school because school leaders feel that institution in pimpinnya is part of his personal effort. Based on explanation above and a phenomenon that has been described, then the author is interested in conducting research with the title "Teacher Perceptions to leadership principal at OLD Sub Sukajadi Pekanbaru". The method of this research is descriptive. The place is OLD and Research Sub Sukajadi Pekanbaru totalling 12 OLD. The time this research was planned for 3 months since the proposal diseminarkan research. The overall population is the subject of research (Suharsimi Arikunto, 2006). As for the population in this research is; The whole teacher in OLD Sub Sukajadi Pekanbaru totalling 12 OLD, consisting of 38 teachers. Sampling of saturated is the dwarf sample determination when all members of a population is used as a sample. Data and instruments used primary data and data namely skunder. The technique of data collection by observation techniques and tenkin question form. Technique of data analysis used IE test validity and reliability, as well as descriptive. Overall the results of the research on teachers ' perceptions of leadership against the principal at OLD Sub Sukajadi Pekanbaru belongs to medium, with the empirical average generated by the whole subject of 73.7%. Based on the results of the research funded in the Sukajadi Pekanbaru Subdistrict of OLD Perceptions to leadership Principal Teacher at the OLD Sub Sukajadi Pekanbaru the highest indicator i.e. indicator moves and protects the indicator with percentages of 81.6%. lowest indicator i.e. indicator foster with the percentage rate 65.8%.
