Management of cultural park is very important. Cultural Park is a place to do activities related to art and culture. Riau province has a Cultural Park managed by Technical Implementation Unit (TIU) Regional Museum and Cultural Park Riau province, as a government institution responsible for the existence and development of local culture. Those institutions are required to develop the culture of 12 districts or cities in Riau province. Based on field observations, the problems that occurred are some work plans that have been planned but have not implemented optimally. The purpose of this study is to know the management of cultural park and the factors that influence the management of cultural park at TIU Regional Museum and Cultural Park Riau province.
The theory concept used is management according to George R.Terry which starts from planning, organizing, actuating, and controlling. This study used descriptive qualitative method. The type of data used is primary data and secondary data. Data collection research is using observation techniques, interviews and documentation. Interviews were conducted with research informants such as Head of Cultural Service, Head of TIU Regional Museum and Cultural Park, Head of Culture Park Section, Riau Cultural Park employee and Artist.
Conclusion of this research is that the management of Cultural Park at TIU Regional Museum and Cultural Park is not yet optimal. This can be seen from the planning and organizing of the existing Riau Malay Culture program such as, the making of Cultural Park 12 District / City website and cultural art base data, the making of Cultural Park gate, the renovation of building art and art house Pucuk Rebung, and the making of toilet room. However, there are still some problems: the division of labor that is still unclear, lack of direction from TIU Regional Museum and Cultural Park in conducting every program / activity in Cultural Park, and infrastructure facilities that are still not well managed. It is seen some buildings that need to be added and renovated like the art building and art house Pucuk Rebung. Then the factors that affect the management of Cultural Park at TIU Regional Museum and Riau Cultural Park in the form of human resources, facilities and infrastructure, and budget.
