Pertumbuhan Dan Hasil Padi Gogo (Oryza Sativa L.) Di Medium Gambut Dengan Aplikasi Beberapa Formulasi Pupuk Hayati Berbasis Limbah Organik Cair
Rice production in Riau Province was unable to fulfill people's needs so it was supplied from outside provinces. One of the efforts that could be conducted was to use peatlands. Peatlands had several obstacles such as acidic pH and low of nutrient availability. One of the efforts that could be done was utilizing biological fertilizers by using a local microbial bioactivator, Bacillus cereus and combined with various types of liquid organic waste. This study aimed to find out the effect and obtain the best biological fertilizers formulation based liquid organic waste on upland rice growth and products in peat medium. This study used a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 6 treatments, namely P0 (water) P1 (B. cereus without formulation) P2 (B. cereus + rice water) P3 (B. cereus + coconut water) P4 (B. cereus + tofu water) P5 (B. cereus + LCPKS). The results showed that the administration of biological fertilizer formulation based liquid organic waste could increase the panicle length and the percentage of grain rice. The Biological fertilizers formulation based liquid organic waste of coconut water gave the best results on the panicle length parameters (5.31% increase compared to controls) and the grain rice percentage (10.40% increase compared to controls).Keywords: rice, peat, biological fertilizers
