Hubungan Pemberian Imunisasi Campak Dengan Kejadian Campak Pada Anak Balita
Abstract
Immunization is one of efforts to provide children immunity by entering a vaccine into the body that is useful to make antibodies to prevent against certain diseases. Immunization of measles is a way to increase a person's immunity against measles. The purpose of this study is to identify the correlation of measles immunization and measles incidence in children aged 1-5 years old. This study use quantitative method with descriptive collerative design with cross sectional approach. This research was conducted in Rejosari Community Health Center with 72 children aged 1-5 years old as participants. Instrument used in this research is questionnaire accompanied by observation sheet. The result of this study showed that there was no significant correlation between measles immunization and measles incidence in children on 1-5 years old, with p value (0.578)> α (0.05). The results of this study is important for health workers can provide health education to the community in overcoming and preventing the occurrence of measles so that will reduce the incidence of measles.
