Diabetes mellitus and Pulmonary Tuberculosis are the two big enough health problems in epidemiological profound impact internationally because both are interrelated and chronic disease. This research aims to identify the relationship of acid-resistant bacilli (BTA) with the patient's blood glucose levels diabetes mellitus with pulmonary tuberculosis (TB) in the provincial hospital medical record Arifin Achmad Riau Province. Design research is observational analytic approach with a retrospective. The number of samples as much as 93 samples with total sampling techniques. Results of the study in May that 51.6% had negative smear, while blood glucose levels 43% experiencing diabetes mellitus. Analysis of the relationship of the BTA with the blood glucose levels of patients with DM TB in size with use of chi-square test obtained p value = 0.03 (0.05 α
