Hubungan Asupan Nutrisi Dengan Pertumbuhan Anak Usia Sekolah

The growth of school-age children is strongly influenced by the intake of nutrients consumed. This study aimed to determine the relationship between nutrient intake and the growth of school-age children in Public Elementary School 130 Pekanbaru. The design of the study was descriptive correlation with cross sectional approach. The sample was 88 respondents were taken based on inclusion criteria using proportionate stratifed random sampling technique. The instrument used was a questionnaire. The data analysis applied was Chi square. The results of the study showed that from 88 respondents, based on the age category it was in the age range of 8-13 years, whereas based on gender, there were almost equal numbers of men and women, namely 43 boys (48.9%) and 45 girls (51.1%). The results of statistical tests using the chi square test revealed that there was a significant relationship between nutrient intake and the growth of school-age children, with a significance value obtained p = 0.003 or
