Karakteristik Tingkat Burnout Pada Perawat Pelaksana Di Rumah Sakit Syafira Pekanbaru

Nurses are an important component in a hospital and at risk to experience stress due to the demands of work overload. This conditions if it continues can cause nurses to experience physical, emotional, and mental fatigue called burnout syndrom. The aimed of this research was to determine the characteristics of burnout levels in nurses at Syafira Hospital Pekanbaru. The research was using descriptive design through through purposive sampling techniques in according to inclusion criteria, with 68 respondent. The instrument of research was a questionnaire Maslach burnout inventory - human service survey that has been tested for validity and reliability. The Results showed thats most respondents experienced moderate burnout category of 35 people (51.5%), respondents who experienced low burnout category were 18 people (26.5%) and respondent who experienced high burnout category were 15 people (22.0%). The result of research thats most impact of burnout dimension is emotional exhauting. It”s recommended for hospital to provide support and motivation for nurses, so they can create a positive attitude in caring for patient and reduce the level of burnout in nurses.Keywords : Characteristics, nurses, burnout levelsReferences: 46 (2003-2018)
