Efektifitas Teknik Relaksasi Genggam Jari Terhadap Kecemasan Anak Usia Sekolah Yang Mendapatkan Imunisasi
Immunization is the process of inserting a vaccine into the human body to prevent certain diseases. Immunization has the goal to avoid infectious in children. Re-immunization at the level of school-age children is not easy to give. Children will experience anxiety, and fear of invasive. One way to deal with these anxieties is by finger held relaxation techniques. Finger held relaxation can control and restore the body’s emotions and create a sense of calm. This study aims to determine the effect of finger held relaxation techniques on reducing anxiety in school-aged children who get immunization. This research was conducted in the area of Payung Sekaki Health Center during Januari 2019 using a quasi experimental design with a pre-test and post-test control group approach. The sample selection method used was a purposive sampling with a total sample of 46 respondents consisting of 23 respondents in the control group and 23 respondents in the experimental group. Data collection used the Visual Facial Anxiety Scale (VFAS) observation sheet and data analysis was used Wilcoxon and Mann Whitney. The results showed that in the experimental group before finger held relaxation relaxation was carried out, most of them were mild anxiety 43,5% and mild-moderate anxiety 56.5% after treatment most patients with mild anxiety levels 52.3%, mild-moderate anxiety 13 % and no anxiety 34.7 % (p < α, 0.005). The results of the Mann Whitney that there is a significant effect of the influence of finger held relaxation techniques on reducing anxiety in school-age children who get immunization.
