Kemampuan Tumbuhan Melati Air (Echinodorus Palaefolius) Dan Genjer (Limnocharis Flava) Dalam Menyerap Logam Berat (Pb Dan Cd) Yang Diaplikasikan Pada Sungai Sail Kota Pekanbaru
study aims to understand the effectiveness ofEchinodorus palaefolius and Limnocharis flavain absorbing heavy metals from the surrounding water was conducted in March - April 2018. The plants are placed in floating tires.Pb and Cdwere analyzed from the root, stem and leaf of the plant.Samplings were conducted 3 times, once/month.Results shown that the average of Pb and Cd in the water was 0.6220 mg/l and 0.2844 mg/l.The highest accumulation of Pb and Cd in E. palaefolius was found in the root (8.05 mg/kg-11.38 mg/kg).The lowest was in the leaf (0.80 mg/kg-1.05 mg/kg). While the highest accumulation of Pb dan Cd in L. flavawas found in the root(8.85 mg/kg-11.18mg/kg), the lowest was in the leaf (0..30 mg/l-0.45 mg/kg ).
