Status Trofik Danau Tajwid Di Kecamatan Langgam, Kabupaten Pelalawan, Provinsi Riau Berdasarkan Indeks Nygaard (In)

Nygaard Indeks is an index which can be used to determined the trophic state of water, based on phytoplankton composition. To understand the trophic state of the Tajwid Lake, a research was conducted on March – April 2018. There were three sampling stations, namely station 1 (inlet area), station 2 (in the middle of the lake), station 3 (distal area of the lake). In each station, there were two sampling points, in the surface (0.5 m) and 2 secchi depth (1.13 m). Samplings were conducted 3 times, once/week. Water quality parameters measured were phytoplankton, temperature, pH, Nitrate, Phosphat and Free CO2. Results shown that Nygaard Index values ranged from 1.75 – 2.6. The water quality parameters were as follows: temperature 29.3(0C) – 30.7(0C), transparency 47 – 54 cm, pH 5, CO2 17.32 – 22.64 mg/L.
